High Traffic = Brisk Sales:

• Our busy Old Quebec Street location serves over 4000 shoppers a day. Our consignors benefit from our high foot traffic and brisk sales. Turnover is quick because our merchandise is fresh and priced to sell so customers stop in often to see what’s new and buy, buy, buy! 
  

Quality and style guidelines. Yes, we've got 'em: 

• We take women's clothing that is two years or newer in style but we’ve been known to turn our heads at cool retro-chic from time to time.

• Fashionable, fun clothes that feel good to wear and make our customers look great! 

• Sizes 6 to 20
• You add value and potential to your items by making sure that they are throughly clean, wrinkle and odour free, in excellent repair and either hung neatly on hangers or very neatly folded and placed in a paper shopper, a clean laundry basket or a small clean box. Please make sure that all footwear has been wiped clean and all purses have been emptied and cleaned out.
• We do not go through big trash bags of stuff. Leave those at home please.

We also take handbags, wallets, good quality footwear, gloves, hats, scarves, shawls and jewellery on consignment.

We DO NOT take the following items:

• Lingerie and sleepwear
• Maternity
• Children's or Men's
• Furs
• Wedding or Bridesmaids dresses 
• Business suits
• Plus sizes over size 20
• Vintage clothing
• Dirty or excessively wrinkled items

No Quantity Limits:

• When you are ready to clean out, move on, move up or downsize ...And Venus Smiled is here.  As long you have properly pre-sorted your items so that they meet all of our style requirements and quality standards you may bring as many as you want as often as you like. 

No Appoinments Needed - EVER!

• Consignments are received 5 days a week. Come at your convenience during these hours:  Monday to Friday from 10 AM until 5 PM. 

A Charitable Option:

• Consignors have the option of retrieving unsold items at the end of the consignment period or we will donate them on your behalf.

When your items have sold you receive 40% of the selling price. What a great way to supplement your clothing budget!
